When it rains it pours!
Here are four helpful tips when it rains and water enters your property.
- Let us know
- It is important to send us an email, including a detailed description and any images or videos of the damage
Please also make sure to place a towel or bucket under the area
- When it rains, a plumber won’t be able to get up on a roof. Please do what you can to help prevent any damage and once the rain has stopped we can send the plumber out
- Make sure you have contents insurance. A landlord insurance policy will typically not include your personal contents if they are damaged
- You may see water damage appear at your property long after the rains have occurred. Water will always find the lowest entry point so the build up may be gradual and over time. Please notify us at the sign of any damage so that we can arrange the right tradesperson.
